Diversity Staffing Report
Table of Contents
Introduction
Sizzle Social believes that transparency about the people behind a business should be based on information that can actually be supported.
This Diversity Staffing Report explains our current approach to workforce diversity, inclusive recruitment, representation and staffing transparency.
Sizzle Social is operated under Sizzle Digital Technologies.
This report should be read alongside the Sizzle Social Diversity Policy, which sets out our broader commitments concerning diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity and fair treatment.

Purpose of This Report
The purpose of this report is to provide transparency about how Sizzle Social approaches diversity in staffing and recruitment.
It is intended to explain:
the areas of workforce diversity we consider relevant;
how diversity relates to recruitment and opportunity;
how we approach demographic reporting;
the limitations of the information currently published;
how privacy affects workforce reporting; and
how our reporting may develop as the organisation grows.
This report is not intended to manufacture demographic statistics or create an impression of representation that cannot be substantiated.
Current Reporting Status
Qualitative Reporting
The current version of this Diversity Staffing Report is qualitative rather than statistical.
Sizzle Social does not publish workforce demographic percentages in this report unless the underlying information has been collected appropriately, verified and determined suitable for responsible publication.
Accordingly, this report does not currently state numerical percentages for characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, age or other demographic categories.
The absence of published percentages should not be interpreted as representing a particular demographic composition.
Why We Do Not Estimate Diversity Numbers
We do not believe diversity reporting is improved by guessing.
Statistics should not be:
inferred from names or photographs;
estimated from appearance;
assumed from location;
constructed from incomplete records; or
published simply to make an organisation appear more diverse.
Where quantified staffing information is published in the future, we intend for it to be based on information that can reasonably support the figures reported.
Areas of Workforce Diversity We Consider
Representation
Depending on the information appropriately available, workforce diversity may be considered across areas such as:
gender representation;
age and career stage;
cultural and regional background;
professional discipline;
educational background;
geographic experience;
disability and accessibility;
socioeconomic experience;
technical and non-technical roles;
leadership and decision-making responsibilities; and
different professional and life experiences.
Not every characteristic needs to be collected or measured for diversity to remain an important consideration.
Diversity of Experience
Workforce diversity is not limited to demographic categories.
A strong technology business may also benefit from people with different:
technical skills;
creative strengths;
professional backgrounds;
educational paths;
industry experience;
communication styles;
problem-solving approaches; and
perspectives.
We consider these differences relevant to building products and Services for a broad audience.
Current Staffing Disclosure
No Unsupported Headcount Breakdown
This report does not currently publish a demographic headcount breakdown for Sizzle Social.
We have deliberately chosen not to state workforce ratios or representation percentages that have not been verified specifically for public reporting.
This includes avoiding unsupported claims such as:
a particular male-to-female ratio;
a particular percentage of employees from specific regions;
disability representation percentages;
religious composition;
ethnic composition;
age distribution percentages; or
representation statistics for other sensitive characteristics.
Where reliable figures become appropriate for publication, this report may be expanded accordingly.
Inclusive Hiring Principles
Skills, Ability and Potential
Where Sizzle Social or Sizzle Digital Technologies recruits employees, interns, contractors or other team members, relevant selection factors may include:
skills;
experience;
qualifications;
portfolio or demonstrated work;
ability;
potential;
professional conduct;
reliability;
communication;
role suitability; and
legitimate operational requirements.
Irrelevant prejudice should not determine whether a qualified person receives fair consideration.
Different Career Paths
Relevant ability may be developed through different routes.
Depending on the role, valuable experience may come from:
formal education;
employment;
freelancing;
entrepreneurship;
personal projects;
internships;
professional training;
self-directed learning; or
demonstrated practical work.
We do not believe one career path automatically makes a person more capable than another.
Equal Opportunity
Fair Consideration
Our diversity principles support fair access to opportunities.
This does not mean every applicant will receive the same result.
Recruitment decisions may reasonably differ because of legitimate considerations including:
skills;
experience;
performance;
role requirements;
business needs;
availability;
compensation expectations;
security requirements; and
other factors relevant to the position.
Equal opportunity means that irrelevant prejudice should not determine the outcome.
Representation Across Roles
More Than Overall Headcount
Overall headcount does not provide a complete picture of workforce diversity.
Representation may also be relevant across:
leadership;
technical roles;
creative roles;
operational roles;
customer-facing roles;
junior positions;
experienced positions;
contractors; and
decision-making responsibilities.
A workforce could appear diverse overall while particular levels or areas remain considerably less representative.
Where quantified reporting becomes available, role distribution may therefore provide useful context alongside overall figures.
Contractors, Freelancers and Contributors
Extended Workforce
Sizzle Social may work with people through different professional arrangements.
These may include employees, contractors, freelancers, consultants, agencies or other specialist contributors where appropriate.
A future staffing report may distinguish between different categories where doing so provides a more accurate picture of the people contributing to Sizzle Social.
We will avoid combining fundamentally different workforce categories solely to produce more favourable diversity statistics.
Leadership Representation
Decision-Making Matters
Meaningful workforce diversity is not limited to who is present within an organisation.
Who participates in decision-making may also matter.
As Sizzle Social develops, representation within areas such as leadership, product decisions, technology, operations, support and content may be relevant when evaluating inclusion.
This report does not currently publish numerical leadership-diversity statistics without a verified dataset supporting those figures.
Privacy and Diversity Data
Demographic Information Can Be Sensitive
Some information relevant to diversity may also constitute personal or sensitive personal information.
Examples may include information concerning:
ethnicity;
religion;
disability;
health;
age;
gender; or
other aspects of an individual’s identity.
Sizzle Social does not believe that transparency requires unnecessary collection or publication of private employee information.
Privacy Before Statistics
Workforce diversity reporting should not require identifying individual team members or exposing sensitive information merely to produce a public percentage.
Where demographic information is collected or processed, it should have an appropriate purpose and be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Our broader data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
Small Groups and Identification Risk
Protecting Individuals
In a smaller workforce, publishing detailed demographic statistics may make it possible to identify individuals even when their names are omitted.
For that reason, workforce reporting may need to remain aggregated or limited where greater detail could compromise employee privacy.
Transparency should not require unnecessary exposure of personal characteristics.
Inclusion Beyond Statistics
Numbers Are Only One Measure
Demographic statistics can provide useful information, but they do not by themselves demonstrate whether a workplace is inclusive.
Other relevant considerations may include:
fairness in recruitment;
access to professional opportunities;
ability to contribute ideas;
respectful treatment;
accessibility;
career development;
fair performance assessment;
representation in decision-making; and
whether legitimate concerns can be raised safely.
Our broader commitments in these areas are explained in the Diversity Policy.
Workplace Culture
Respect and Collaboration
We aim to maintain professional working relationships based on respect, collaboration and accountability.
Different backgrounds and perspectives should be capable of contributing to better decisions rather than becoming a basis for inappropriate exclusion.
Our wider standards concerning professional conduct and fair treatment are set out in the Ethics Policy.
Accessibility and Opportunity
Removing Unnecessary Barriers
Where reasonably practicable, recruitment and working practices should avoid unnecessary barriers that prevent otherwise capable people from participating.
Accessibility may involve consideration of:
recruitment processes;
communication;
digital tools;
working arrangements;
role requirements; and
other practical aspects of participation.
Not every role can accommodate every arrangement, but limitations should be based on legitimate requirements rather than assumptions.
Accountability
Reviewing Our Approach
As Sizzle Social grows, we may review:
recruitment practices;
opportunity distribution;
workforce composition;
workplace feedback;
accessibility;
representation in leadership;
staffing data quality; and
whether more detailed public reporting has become appropriate.
The purpose of review should be to understand the organisation accurately rather than to produce favourable statistics.
Future Quantitative Reporting
When Numerical Reporting Becomes Appropriate
Sizzle Social may introduce more detailed workforce statistics where:
sufficient reliable data exists;
collection has an appropriate basis;
categories are clearly defined;
privacy can reasonably be protected;
the dataset is large enough to make reporting meaningful; and
publication would provide genuine transparency.
Possible future reporting may include aggregated information concerning:
gender representation;
role distribution;
leadership representation;
geographic representation;
employment level; or
other appropriate workforce characteristics.
Publication of any particular category is not guaranteed.
Methodology Matters
Where quantitative figures are introduced, the report should explain enough methodology for readers to understand what the figures represent.
Relevant information may include:
reporting date;
population included;
whether contractors are included;
categories used;
whether information is self-reported; and
important limitations.
Percentages without context can create a misleading picture.
Changes Over Time
Workforce Composition Changes
The composition of a growing organisation may change as people:
join;
leave;
change roles;
become contractors;
move into leadership;
complete internships; or
otherwise change their relationship with the organisation.
Any future staffing statistics should therefore be understood as reflecting a particular reporting period rather than a permanent characteristic of Sizzle Social.
Feedback About Diversity and Staffing
Constructive Feedback
Questions or constructive feedback concerning diversity, inclusion or workforce reporting may be submitted through Sizzle Social’s official channels.
Feedback may help identify:
reporting gaps;
accessibility concerns;
recruitment barriers;
unclear wording;
representation concerns; or
useful areas for future disclosure.
Relevant feedback will be considered under the Actionable Feedback Policy.
Reporting Concerns
Diversity and Inclusion Concerns
A person who wishes to report a genuine concern concerning discrimination, inclusion or related workplace conduct may contact:
Email: contact@sizzlesocial.ng
Support Portal: https://sizzlesocial.ng/contact/ticket/
Reports should contain sufficient information to enable reasonable review.
A person should not be retaliated against solely for raising a good-faith concern.
Relationship With Our Diversity Policy
This report provides information about Sizzle Social’s approach to staffing diversity and reporting.
The Diversity Policy establishes our broader principles concerning:
inclusion;
equal opportunity;
representation;
workplace fairness;
accessibility;
customers;
content; and
organisational culture.
The two pages should therefore be read together.

the organisation grows sufficiently for more detailed reporting;
legal or privacy requirements change; or
greater disclosure becomes appropriate.
The Last Updated date identifies the current version.

Our Commitment
Sizzle Social believes diversity reporting should be accurate before it is impressive.
We will not invent percentages, infer sensitive characteristics from appearances or publish unsupported workforce statistics simply to make a diversity report look complete.
Our current approach is therefore deliberately transparent about what we can responsibly report today.
As Sizzle Social and Sizzle Digital Technologies grow, we may expand this report where reliable information allows us to provide a more detailed picture of workforce representation without compromising the privacy of the people behind the organisation.
